Today I’ll be talking about using the Jeopardy Game as a studying or learning tool, for my Contracts, Negotiations and Copyright class. I was given a power point that was also the Jeopardy game. From my first looks of the game I didn’t think it was a power point throwing me of a little when I found out it was. I didn’t know that you could make something like that with power point, but I soon had to find out how to work it. I’ve worked with power point many times before so it wasn’t to bad for me to use.
When I started looking at the set up on the game I saw that there were links on the pages. I still haven’t looked into how the links work, but I’ll have to do the some other time. What it was that we really had to do was add new Q&A into the slides. Which wasn’t to bad doing just needed to replace their words with mine. I did find looking for topics a little hard. There are so many words that I could put in the power point, but I had to make to go in the right topics. It would have been easier if I had money to get the book sooner. After finding what I wanted to add it went pretty easy.
I feel this was a good idea to help the class study and learn the words. Back in high school we would play Jeopardy also to help us get to know words. That were not as hard as what is in the Patent, Copyright & Trademark Book. This way makes it more fun to learn the words, where most students don’t like to or haven’t read the book. I’m looking forward to next weeks class and to play this game.
